Mike Sheffey CEO
|

Prior to Versora, Mike Sheffey served as VP of Sales and Professional
Services at Miramar Systems (acquired by Computer Associates in 2004)
where he was responsible for selling over 20 million software licenses
globally. At Miramar, Mike developed and managed international sales channels
with companies including EDS, TEKsystems, Novell, Computer Associates and Dell.
Mike also closed multinational sales and professional services deals with
Fortune 500 companies including Intel, General Motors, Proctor & Gamble and UBS
Warburg. In addition, Mike orchestrated international distribution partnerships
in over 30 countries throughout Europe and Asia Pacific. Mike has authored
documentation on the cost savings and cost comparison of Linux versus Windows
in the enterprise environment including a roadmap for integrating Linux into
the Windows platform. He has also co-authored numerous whitepapers with Novell
and MySQL AB including Migrating from IIS Web Server to Apache SUSE LINUX Enterprise
Server 9, Migrating from Microsoft SQL Server to MySQL Databases Running on Linux,
and Moving to a Linux Desktop.

Jon Walker CTO

Prior to Versora, Jon Walker was CTO/VP of Engineering for Miramar Systems
(acquired by Computer Associates in 2004). Windows to Windows desktop migration
software developed under his direction at Miramar has been deployed to over 20
million computers worldwide. Jon has also served as senior technologist for Nortel
and Xing Technology (now Real Networks). In addition to his role as CTO at Versora,
Jon is an Editor at LinuxWorld Magazine and is a frequent lecturer on topics
relating to desktop and data center migration and heterogeneous IT environments.

Nick Lassonde Chief Software Architect

Nick Lassonde was most recently a Senior Architect for Miramar Systems.
He was responsible for managing several projects with a specific focus on
technologies for PC Lifecycle solutions. His primary emphasis was on moving
critical data and configurations from one operating system to another. Nick
was also responsible for design and implementation of automated testing procedures.
Previous to Miramar, Nick served as a Software Architect for Cadence Design Systems
where he focused on interoperation between Microsoft and Linux/Unix workstations.
Additionally, he worked with open source tools to better facilitate file and content management.

Matthew Warne
VP, Product Management

Matthew Warne has a diverse business and technical background. Most recently, he has been involved in entrepreneurial
activities including owner/consulting work with a studio lighting company and partnering in a restaurant. Prior to this,
he worked at Microsoft for 11 years where he held engineering and management positions. He managed large groups
responsible for building, testing, delivery and maintenance of products including the Microsoft C/C++ compiler. He built
a large team and managed the QA efforts for a set of media authoring and high end 3D graphics programs. Throughout his technical
career, he has focused energy and time on process improvement and in improving communication within the project teams.

Ray George VP, Marketing

Ray George most recently served as Managing Partner at Venture PR Group, a public
relations and marketing firm focusing on technology. During his 5 year tenure,
Ray was responsible for securing and retaining numerous clients including Life
Measurement, Bravanta, Science Based Health, TeamFuel, Kestrel Solutions, and
Ephibian. Ray was also active in publicizing organizations including Garage
Technology Ventures, SIASF and WorkIt. Through Ray's efforts, clients received
coverage in major publications including The Wall Street Journal, USA Today,
New York Times, Boston Globe, Los Angeles Times, San Francisco Chronicle and
broadcast coverage on CNN Headline News as well as over 30 appearances on major
affiliate networks (NBC, ABC, CBS, Fox) nationwide. At Versora, Ray is responsible
for media and marketing strategy as it relates to all products and services.
